BASIC SALARY UP TO £25,000 DOE - OTE £30,000

My client is searching for a Warranty Administrator to join a well respected family-owned group representing German brands in the Lincoln area.

The Warranty Administrator will ensure the accurate and timely processing of Warranty claims.

This is a role where you will be carrying out Warranty Administration as well as supervising and assisting the Workshop with technical repair pathways and brand recall campaigns. 

This is considered a senior role; therefore the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate reasonable experience and at least 3 continuous years of employment in a similair position. In addition the right person for the job will have a clear understanding that warranty is a major contributor to creating outstanding customer service ~ this group puts the customer at the centre of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all jobs passed for warranty submissions are accurately invoiced and costed.
  • Document all warranty, goodwill and recall work as per manufacturer’s requirements and Retailer policy.
  • Provide advice on warranty claims to the Franchise team to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Utilise technical knowledge and understanding of warranty procedures to enable effective, economic and correct application of manufacturer’s warranty systems.
  • Ensure all clerical functions within the warranty department are carried out in accordance with Westdrive policy.
  • Ensure Service Advisers and workshop staff complete relevant records accurately when a warranty situation occurs on a vehicle.
  • Maintain records of warranty submissions, credits, and customer contributions towards goodwill claims.

  • Strong work ethic and adaptable to change.
  • Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work.
  • Able to react positively to organisational and market changes.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • PC literate/ Web literate.

Full time role, Monday ~ Friday, 8.00am – 6pm ~ No weekend working for a better work-life balance

Volkswagen Group experience is desired either as a foundation or from your current role
