BASIC SALARY £18-22,000 DOE

My client, a well established estate agency in Canterbury are looking to recruit a SALES & LETTINGS COORDINATOR ideally with experience working in ADMINISTRATION Estate Agency but not essential.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate and friendly with a warm temperament. Attention to detail is essential along with high accuracy in spelling.  Someone with great communication skills both verbal and written, will go the extra mile and is a supportive and willing team member.  They also want someone who works well under pressure in a sometimes challenging environment. Patient and tolerant. Professional yet compassionate.

Sales Duties:

  • Applicant management
  • Qualifying applicants and booking viewings
  • Responding to and management of leads
  • Booking market appraisals
  • Taking & negotiating offers
  • Checking chains
  • Sales progression – liaising with solicitors, vendors and buyers to ensure smooth sale
  •  Running anti money laundering checks
  • Sending commission invoices in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all information is sought and memorandum of sales are sent out to all parties
  • Ensuring notes are kept up to date
  • Ordering for sale and sold boards
  • Providing support to the Sales Director
  • Ensuring our notes system is kept up to date

Lettings duties

  • Applicant management
  • Qualifying applicants and booking viewings
  • Booking market appraisals
  • Responding to and management of leads
  • Referencing of applicants and issuing of appropriate legal documentation in a timely manner
  • Progression of lets and liaising with property manager to ensure successful move in
  • Creating tenancy agreements
  • Managing the student referencing
  • Managing tenancy renewals – running of timely reports to ensure tenancy renewals are negotiated and agreed by both landlord and tenant and renewal documents are created and sent for signing
  • Taking payments over the phone
  • Providing support to the Lettings & Property Manager & Director
  • Ensuring our notes system is kept up to date
  • Notifying utility companies of change of tenant
  • Conducting some sales and rental viewings as and when required (subject to commission)
