My client, a respected Regional Group is looking for an experienced Car Sales Executive or Business Manager to join the team as a selling Sales Controller. This is an exciting opportunity, suitable for a Sales Executive who is looking for career progression or an established Business Manager. It is a hybrid role involving selling vehicles and managing a small team who will need to be guided and coached. A good knowledge of finance and insurance products is essential, along with a consultative manner and a calm temperament.     

OUR CLIENT HAS ASKED US TO ACTIVELY RECRUIT FOR THIS VACANCY DURING THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN (PERIOD 2) TO ENSURE PROGRESS IS NOT INTERRUPTED IN FILLING THIS IMPORTANT POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

  • To sell and promote the sale of all new and used vehicles in line with all aspects of the dealership and manufacturer standards
  • With guidance from the General Manager you will help manage a small team of three sales executives
  • Within your team ensure that profit is maximised from controlling the sale of the vehicle as well as the finance products.  
  • Confidently build rapport with customers to identify and establish their needs, and proactively promote suitable vehicle features and benefits
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service both individually and via your team - understanding the importance of repeat business
  • To achieve both new and used vehicle sales targets along with secondary accessory and financial services targets

Key Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years car sales experience, ideally at main dealer level
  • You must have a stable career history that can be validated
  • Experience working within a defined sales process within a main dealership (desirable)
  • A full clean UK driving licence
