My client, a respected independent retailer is looking for a motivated Car Sales Executive or Business Manager to join the team as a selling Sales Controller. This is a rare and exciting opportunity, suitable for a sales executive who is looking for career progression. It is an important hybrid role involving selling vehicles and managing a small team of three who will need to be guided and coached. A good knowledge of finance and insurance products is also a must have, along with a consultative manner and a calm temperament.

To sell and promote the sale of all new and used vehicles in line with all aspects of the dealership and manufacturer standards
With guidance from the General Manager you will help manage a small team of three sales executives
Within your team ensure that profit is maximized from controlling the sale of the vehicle as well as the finance products.
Confidently build rapport with customers to identify and establish their needs, and proactively promote suitable vehicle features and benefits
Provide the highest levels of customer service both individually and via your team - understanding the importance of repeat business
To achieve both new and used vehicle sales targets along with secondary accessory and financial services targets
You must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years car sales experience, ideally at main dealer level
You must have a stable career history that can be validated
Experience working within a defined sales process within a main dealership (desirable)
A full clean UK driving licence
