Our client is searching for an accomplished manager to become a hands-on Sales Controller providing leadership and future direction to a developing team selling modern innovative vehicles.

The Sales Controller position is pivotal in terms of setting the path to achieve the required level of volume and profit; whilst nurturing the team to the next level and a sustainable future.

The successful candidate will need to use their practiced people skills and experienced coaching abilities to ensure the sales team make the most of the resources available to maximise the sales opportunity.

This is a modern brand where ‘retail is detail’ and the Sales Controller will be the ‘go-to’ manager onsite and as such he must be able to lead from the front. Particular attention will need to be applied daily to ensure the team gain the most from every customer interaction and inbound enquiry.

This is an ideal position for a motivated manager with a ‘can do’ consultative attitude to the business who enjoys coaching, mentoring and generally crafting the wider team to achieve better results. It’s essential to any application that recent success in team building, profit generation and volume growth is evident.

The Role

  • You will be able to provide energy and leadership to your team being on-hand and able to enhance any customer interaction.
  • You will be the guardian of the Group Sales Experience protecting the quality to ensure the customer has enjoyed their experience.  
  • To be fully aligned with and dedicated to the customer and their requirements on a daily basis.
  • To use the resource and outlined group processes at your disposal to achieve the set business goals and objectives
  • To deliver the beat customer experience possible; making decisive decisions to benefit both the business and the customer.
  • Demonstrate to the customers and to your team that you are fully aligned and engaged with the Company objectives, long term goals, and the set manufacturers standards.

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant previous experience that can be demonstrated is a must have.
  • A passion to succeed and to end each day having explored all opportunities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Full UK Driving License.
