My client is looking for a self-employed Property Manager with some experience in the industry to look after the management of a portfolio of multi-let properties in Maidstone, dealing with tenants on a daily basis.
The office is situated outside of Maidstone so the candidate should ideally live in between Maidstone and West Kent. You should also have your own car and a full driving licence.
Be the first point of contact for our tenants (7 days/week availability although not fully working 7 days a week)
Weekly fire alarm testing for all properties
Keep spare room adverts up to date
Prepare rooms for viewings (including staging and photographing)
Book and attend viewings
Move tenants in/out and complete all contracts and paperwork associated
Liaise with and assist company directors
Answer the company mobile phone and respond to emails
Manage the cleaning and maintenance team
Collect meter readings
Quarterly house inspections
Deal with any complaints
Carry out general office tasks
A car and a clean driver’s licence;
Ability to work on own initiative / with remote managers;
Excellent telephone and people skills;
Good attention to detail and accuracy skills;
Good computer literacy, e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel;
Capable of organising and prioritising workload and meeting deadlines;
Ability to resolve problems;
Honest, reliable and friendly personality;
Ability to work from home with own computer, printer/scanner/copier.
