Description

Our Client is looking for someone motivated, who has excellent interpersonal skills in order to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising/managing a busy Parts department, developing processes and controls.

The role requires a good understanding of developing trade relationships as well as nurturing and maximising internal parts opportunities. As well as leading and motivating the Parts team, as part of the Senior management team, it is essential that you are able to work closely with other managers and team members from all departments.

Requirements

Key Job Areas

  • Oversee the daily running of the Parts department
  • Work towards and achieving targets
  • Ensure that the team provide excellent customer service
  • Manage stock levels
  • Manage trade sales activity
  • Provide sign-off on key issues such as local promotions and showroom displays
  • Train and develop team members
  • Work as part of the dealership, and encourage the Parts department to do the same

Personal Specification

  • Previous experience and/or proven track record in Parts/Customer Service
  • Previous experience of working to and successfully achieving targets
  • Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service/people skills delivering services to high standards
  • Ability to lead, and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work on own initiative or with minimum supervision
  • Must have flexible 'cando’ approach
  • Ability to successfully use persuasiveness/negotiation techniques
