Vehicle Technician / Mechanic - Wanted

£26,000 - £30,000 basic salary, up to £34,800 OTE

Uncapped bonus opportunities (42 hour week) 

My client is looking for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their diverse and hardworking team in Sudbury. On offer is a basic salary of £26,000 - £30,000 DOE, OTE up to £34,800 and uncapped bonus opportunities. The Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics play an important role within the service team by consistently providing first class repairs and servicing, taking the very best care of customers vehicles from start to finish. This is why they provide them with ongoing learning and development opportunities, including industry leading manufacturer training.  You will have an NVQ level 3 in vehicle maintenance and repair and have heaps of industry experience. Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics have a keen eye for the finer detail, are enthusiastic about delivering the highest level of standards, all whilst working as part of a team to deliver results as efficiently as possible to meet the customer’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities -

• To undertake maintenance, service and repair motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times.
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance including vehicle services and tyre changes.
• Look for ways to identify future customer costs savings by recommending preventative maintenance and appropriate vehicle expenditure.
• Keep logs of work and report on issues.

Key Requirements -

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• MOT licence (desirable, not essential)
• Full, clean driving licence (essential).

You will work Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm and alternate Saturdays 8am - 12pm
