My client, a well established estate agency in Wimbledon are looking to recruit an experienced Lettings Accountant with experience ideally in Property or Lettings / Accounts for a well-established company in Wimbledon.
This recognised brand is looking for someone that can work well under pressure and is able to communicate well on the phone. This position is very varied and can be demanding so excellent organisational skills are a MUST.
You will need:
Experience in Excel, Word & Outlook
Previous accounts experience within residential lettings
To work well under pressure
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Good, friendly telephone manner and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to use initiative
Excellent coordination skills with good attention to detail
Be able to prioritise
Positive, friendly attitude
Professional and hard-working
Daily importing of bank statements and payment allocations
Dealing with bank reconciliations
Process direct debit requests and submissions
Dealing with petty cash and cash book
Process card payments
Complete daily and monthly payment runs to landlords and tenants including cheques
Print and dispatch account statements and remittances
Provide cover for Accounts Assistant role
Run weekly & monthly control reports
Any ad-hoc tasks required by management team
