Our client is seeking an talented manager to provide leadership and future direction to your team selling new and used vehicles.

The GSM position is crucial in setting a successful course to achieve sales volume and profit; whilst nurturing the team to the next level and a sustainable future.

Success in this role is achieved by managing the detail and the GSM must have the skills and experience to lead the team in a consultative manner. The successful candidate must have the ability to manage a team of circa twelve sales executives and three other sales managers who control the structure of the sale.

This is an ideal position for an experienced indivdual with a hands-on attitude who enjoys the cut and thrust of coaching, mentoring and generally shaping the team to achieve better results. It’s essential to any application that recent success in team building, profit generation and volume growth can be produced.

OUR CLIENT HAS ASKED US TO ACTIVELY RECRUIT FOR THIS VACANCY DURING THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN (PERIOD 2) TO ENSURE PROGRESS IS NOT INTERRUPTED IN FILLING THIS IMPORTANT POSITION

The Role

  • You will provide energy and leadership to your team being on-hand and able to enhance any customer situation.
  • You will be the guardian of the sales experience protecting the quality to ensure the customer has enjoyed their dealings with the business.  
  • Supported by the senior management team you will deliver upon the set financial budgets and related business K.P.I.s.
  • To be fully aligned with and dedicated to the customer and their requirements on a daily basis.
  • To use the resource and outlined processes at your disposal to achieve the set business goals and objectives
  • To utilise effectively the management tools available to create a exceptional customer experience; making significant decisions to benefit both the business and the customer.
  • Demonstrate to the customers and to your team that you are fully aligned and engaged with the Company objectives and long term goals

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant previous experience that can be demonstrated is a must have.
  • A passion to succeed and to end each day having explored all opportunities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Full UK Driving License.
