Car Dealership Cashier

DEALERSHIP CASHIER WANTED!

SALARY £22K PER ANNUM!

My client a well established Independant car dealershup in the CM postcode of Essex is looking for a cashier to join their very busy team.

A typical day:

•         Process daily banking of Cash and PDQ receipts for Sales and aftersales onto DMS
•          Daily banking deposits cash and cheques
•          Process cheque and BACS requisitions for suppliers and customer refunds.
•          Process daily bank receipts and payments onto DMS
•          Check and process daily vehicle payment to auction houses and individual direct purchases of vehicles.
•          Reconcile internal control account for banking

Person Specification:

• Part or fully AAT qualified (or other accounting qualification);
• Experience of working within a similar role;
• Motortrade experience desirable;
• Strong Microsoft skills;
• The ability to reconcile data in an efficient manner;
• Attention to detail and accuracy;
• Competent IT skills including excel and word;
• Highly organised with ability to time manage;
• Ability to work well under pressure, schedule work appropriately and show initiative to improve procedures where appropriate 

Hours - 37.5 per week (M-F 9am - 5.30pm)
