WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE START

Basic Salary £25,000 D.O.E (Pro rata) + Bonus + Other Benefits
My client is a respected dealer group based in East Anglia who are looking for a Warranty Administrator to join their motivated team.
Summary of role:
Responsible for costing and invoicing all warranty jobs. The successful candidate will be able to ensure the accurate submissions of warranty and goodwill claims on a daily basis.
Maintain control of warranty processes to avoid any financial risk to the company.
Working closely with the workshop team to ensure all warranty repair work is claimed to the highest standard possible to ultimately create an exceptional customer experience.
To enhance the reputation of the Company when dealing with coworkers, suppliers and customers.
Any manufacturer recalls will need to be controlled along with any warranty debt. Manufacturer standards must also be adhered to at all times.
The role requires a consistent focus on detail and accuracy and full training will be given; in return your hard work will recognized and rewarded accordingly.
What my client is looking for:
At least 3 years Dealership experience; ideally as a qualified Technician and latterly as a customer facing Service or Parts Advisor
A working knowledge of either CDK or Pinewood DMS systems is an advantage; literacy in general Microsoft I.T. is a minimum requirement
Numerate and able to convey information accurately
An ability to continually learn and up date technical knowledge and procedures related to a warranty claims system
Daily Tasks:
Warranty Claim Processing
Record, check and process all claim information in line with manufacturer conditions.
Process and reconcile claim settlement paperwork received from manufacturers and concessionaires.
Investigate and query unsettled and short paid claims and assess their causes.
Record, supervise and control the systems for parts returns and inspections.
Control the system for the receipt and recharging of specialist repairs.
Help to ensure the best customer experience is delivered in respect of warranty work performed.
Proactively investigate overdue claims and discuss issues raised with manufacturer representatives and fellow staff as appropriate.
Inspect parts returned under warranty and maintain a record in case of inspection.
Control all filing and archiving of claim paperwork to ensure a clear audit trail which can be followed by any manufacturer’s warranty auditor.
Help ensure efficient progress of warranty jobs through the workshop.
Circulate new and up-to-date warranty information and literature for new vehicles and repair procedures.
Liaise with manufacturer’s representatives to ensure that explanations are given for work undertaken where appropriate.
