BASIC  £30K + OTE

I am currently recruiting for a Paint Sprayer/Prepper to start for a well Established Bodyshop in Chelmsford . Working on a variety of vehicles to a high standard, all Paint Spray technicians will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out to a very high standard, completed to tight deadline times. Applicants will need to be fully skilled and have previous bodyshop experience. You will carry out preparation, local paintwork, light filling repairs and cosmetic refurbishment on a range of vehicles. 

Key responsibilities:

• efficiently and effectively undertake painting and prepping on motor vehicles
• work safely and responsibly, in line with current H&S (including COSHH), retailer and manufacturer regulations and guidelines
• Prepare panels to an exceptionally high standard
• Experience in water based paints is necessary
• time management and work schedule priority 
• ATA and/or NVQ qualification is preferred, but not essential if you have the skills and experience. Glass repair and plastics experience an advantage.

Skills and Experience:

• 2 years’ experience as a Prepper / Painter
• background in a similar automotive environment
• full UK drivers licence
• excellent communication skills
• Experience in water based paints is necessary

HOURS - 8.00am – 5.00pm Mon- Fri
