Psychometric testing is now a fundamental part of recruitment. Even so,
everyday more companies are integrating it as part of their process in
getting the right people for the job. Prima Ardelle Associates in conjunction
with myDISCprofile are now offering you the chance to survey your own behavioural
profile.
A psychometric test profile can be an excellent extra to add on to your CV. Employers
will get a better understanding about what makes you tick and how you behave.
There are many forms of psychometric analysis. Prima Ardelle Associates utilise
the world renowned myDISCprofile version.
DISC measures four factors of an individual's behaviour: Dominance, Influence,
Steadiness and Compliance. They can be characterised as assertiveness, communication,
patience and structure.
DISC, interprets the relations between these factors. For example where a highly
Dominant person has an equally high level of Influence, they will behave quite
differently to an equally Dominant individual without that Influence. The factors
combine like this to provide (theoretically) around one million different profiles.
Using this information, DISC can be used to describe a person's general approach,
their motivations and dislikes, strengths and development areas, and some of
the basic assumptions they make about other people. It can also go far in helping
to predict how a person will react or perform in various circumstances for example
in a sales environment.
However, don't take our word for it. As you can see from the following quotes, psychometric testing is fast becoming an integral part of the recruitment process.
The report will take just ten minutes out of your life and starts from £19 +VAT; you can create and print your own report, which is immediate, downloadable and personal to you.
Afterwards you will be able to fully recognise your behaviour traits within the work place allowing you to make informed decisions about your career aspirations and earnings potential.
The comprehensive report will identify your key skills as well as potential development areas. Enabling you to fully recognise your behaviour in the work place and the positive and negative impact it can have on your promotional prospects.
This report will show you how others perceive you as an individual – normally after taking the analysis, candidates are able to fully see what their colleagues and managers see, enabling them to alter their behaviour patterns within the workplace environment.
" A must for any serious sales professional looking to maximise their true earnings potential and career advancement.”
Miss L Wilcox – Personal Account Advisor
“…. We always utilise assessments as part of our selection process. It is clear to us the difference between candidates that have taken some kind of personal profile and ones that haven’t. Understandably we tend to make job offers available to candidates that have taken an interest both in ourselves as an organisation as well as a vested interest in their own personal development”
HR Manager - Personal Finance Company
“ I had been in sales for 3 years and looking for the next step up into sales management against two other internal candidates. The enhanced report showed me clearly my positive attributes and allowed me to sell myself at a three stage panelled interview process. Obviously I may not have secured this position, that I really wanted had I not been aware of all of my skills which were transferable for this role – I can not praise the enhanced report highly enough.
