WANTED SERVICE/ BODYSHOP ADVISOR

GREAT BRAND WITH CAREER PROGRESSION

BASIC TO £20K DOE WITH 1 ST YEARS OTE CIRCA £25K DOE

My client, is a market leading brand currently expanding.

I am looking for an body shop adviser reporting to the service manager to join their already highly successful team.

As a Bodyshop and Service Adviser you will be reporting to the Service Manager being first point of contact for all customers and enquiries either face to face or by telephone/email.

You will be responsible for booking in the cars and advising on any additional work required, providing admini for the department and liaising closely with othe rmmbers of the team to ensure that customers have a positive after sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide a courteous and efficient point of contact ensuring that every valued customer has thier equiries handled professionally
  • Booking in vehicles to ensure that waiting times are reduced, liaising with your team on availability
  • Communicate with the customer regarding any repairs or additional work required
  • Negotiate with customers and offer service work whilst their car is in our care
  • To ovesee the MOT team operation on a daily basis
  • Ensure all customer vehicles are fully repaired and serviced according to exacting standards within agreed timescales
  • To have thorough knowledge of the complete product range including new technologies, and have knowledge of our competitors ( Full training will be given)

You will need to

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with clients and peers
  • Flourish in a fast-paced environment that recognises individual performance and team success.
  • You will be able to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably
  • Be able to go the extra mile to ensure service levels
  • You will have proven selling skills and good problem solving skillsBe proficent in administration, task management and follow ups
  • Passionate about for customer service and be professional and well presented at all times

Your experience

  • Ideally have at least two years + experience in a busy administrative role ideally within the motor industry
  • Excellent IT skills and telephone skills
  • Able to work under your own initiative and be self-motivated
  • You will have full and clean UK Driving Licence
